The Master's MessageDear Brethren: The Lodge year can be broken down into the three degrees of our fraternity, the EA (Youth) winter into spring, the FC (Manhood) from late spring to early fall and finally the MM (Old Age) from late fall into winter. As young officers newly installed into our various chairs, we strive to learn our duties and responsibilities so that by spring we can function comfortably as a team and as a credit to our Lodge, and that by reaching late fall we are ready to succeed to higher duties in late winter. It is a cycle that has gone on since time immemorial and as in life will continue until time is no more. Each of you who read this message have traveled the road of our three degrees and I'm sure can remember the uncertainty you had as the EA, the confidence you gained as FC and the final pride you had the night you were finally made a MM. You worked hard to achieve your goal and I invite you to come out and exercise the privilege you worked so hard to achieve. I and the officers of your Lodge welcome the opportunity to greet you in open Lodge and for your encouragement to each of us as we are in the EA portion of our year. The temple is not yet complete and we need additional help in the quarries, so put on your apron and join us. Fraternally Yours |
