The Master's MessageBrethren: The changing seasons of the year bring you new experiences. Our desire and search for knowledge necessarily begins in the darkness of ignorance. The buried seed wakes to life in darkness, and then sends up its germ, seeking Heavens sunlight. Much like all of nature that surrounds us with every change in the season we start a new journey and we find natures teachings in the unfolding wonders of each successive season are indeed impressive. As we grow through the seasons of our Masonic journey we find the symbolic lessons taught are equally impressive. These are lessons that will stay with us though our entire lives. I don't think there is one day that goes by where I'm not recalling a lesson conveyed in a degree or perhaps a lecture. As brothers of the greatest and noblest fraternal organization we are privileged to the teachings of the fraternity. These lessons learned should be a constant reminder of how we should live our lives on a daily basis. And if we live Masonry in our daily lives, the rewards of our deliberations shall be that abundant harvest representative of our diligent labors of the previous seasons. So as we experience the transition from the darkness of winter to the light of spring let us remember the Masonic light that has been imparted to us and let us forget not the duties you have heard so frequently inculcated, and so forcibly recommended in the lodge. Fraternally your Master, |
