Links in the United States, Protectorates, and Territories

Unlike many countries in the world, there is no centralized body of Freemasons in the United States.

Roughly divided on the state geographical borders, each state is presided over by a minimum of one Grand Lodge.

Due to the multicultural diversity within the United States, it is quite possible that one or several Grand Lodges of different affiliations overlap within state borders. Within these geographical boundaries, each Grand Lodge maintains its own autonomy, its individual fraternal relations, membership, etc.

Between the various bodies, fraternal relations govern the membership as to the regularity of other bodies within the state.

Also included within this listing are several US Protectorates and territories. Lodges in Guam are warranted for the most part under the Grand Lodge of the Phillippines. Several Grand Jurisdictions are present in Puertico Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

All in all, within these listings, we have attempted to indicate affiliation if so indicated on the site and have made no attempt at resolving regularity. Each individual member is urged to study the regularity and fraternal relations exxtended from his own jurisdiction.

The United States is representative of almost all of the various aspects of Freemasonry, and we hope you enjoy each of them in perspective.
