To all whom it may concern - -  Whereas the companions whose names appear below have petitioned me in due form to grant them a dispensation to resuscitate Adoniram Council No. 9, and become members thereof, and the original charter is lost; after due consideration I deem it wise to do so. And hereby grant to said Companions, in the name and under the authority of the Most Puissant Grand Council of the State of New Jersey, dispensation to hold a regular assembly, at Elizabeth N. J. on January 4, 1908, in the Lodge room, and to hold a regular election of officers, and to do regular work in conformity with the by--laws, general regulations and constitution of said Grand body, and to hold regular assemblies from time to time until the next regular annual assembly of the Grand Council to be held in Trenton.
Given by me in open Council under hand and seal of the
Most Puissant Grand Council of the State of New Jersey.

Edward Blackmore Grand Master.
